One of the best shots with the old Petri 55mm f1.8. However, disappointed in the rather expensive adapter as it does not focus to infinity (not even close). But close up, the results are nice.

Woking signal box was brought into service on 27th June 1937 and decommissioned in 22nd August 1997. However, being a listed building, it is still present at the station and also holds most of its equipment inside.
I remember reading at some point that there was a plan to relocate it to the railway museum at York, but that would have been some exercise had it come to fruition!
The Southern Railway built a number of boxes in this style, including those at Surbiton, Horsham, Dorking, Wimbedon, South Croydon and Bognor.

Belén designed by Bill Egan in a Spanish style. The Holy Family figures are by Montserrat Ribes (17 cm). The base, stable, and rocks are all foam. Some balsa wood is used for trim. The barrel tile roof is a plastic sheet. Instructions for making foam buildings and scenery can be found on YouTube -- look for "Nativity School" videos.

Okay, I´m not going to lie here - I´ve been getting heavily inspired by Markus Huber and Martin Tom Dieck on this one here (google them, it´s worth it!). I actually tried to go back to a more painterly looking style of drawing like when I used pencils, but it never though of combining Uniball Eye fineliner with Polychromos black color pen.
I took a snapshot, upped the contrast and added digital color in GIMP. I like it a lot and think I´ll keep going in this direction. I love how bold and expressive it looks as I´ve been getting more and more uptight lately. I´m actually really excited about it right now ;)
