The Zedel Brasserie is a beautifully decorated restaurant just behind Piccadilly Circus. We successfully negotiated the menu that was in French only with the help of Linda who speaks the language and then we enjoyed a very fine meal. The waiting staff were numerous and attentive although the young lady looking after us, and who took this photo of us, did struggle a little as at times we were addressed as madam and at other times as sir. To be honest I did not detect any malice I just think we were probably the first tgirls she had looked after and she was getting a little muddled.
There was an outdoor portrait activity , we invited the lovely girl amanda to go to Taiwan east street to take picture , amanda got pretty face , eyes , nice figure with great breast , small waist ,white skin , when she wore a sexy fashion to show her personal sexy style of pose , she is so charming and attractive ,thank amanda she did her best model job
2015 National Day Parade National Education Show 1, Singapore
Fireworks has increasingly become a staple genre of photography in Singapore. Every year without fail, during the National Day period, Singapore never fails to dazzle her tiny city state with the stylish display of pyrotechnics.
Watching the fireworks from a distant location does bring about a different feeling. So near yet so far.

Here are two paintings my Mum had hanging in her house - the top one was by my arty brother and the bottom is one from 2019 by me of a Paris at night scene. We both liked to paint, but you can see our styles are different. If my brother were still alive I could picture him living in a lovely country cottage with roses around the front door. I suppose I'll always be a city girl! I'm not totally happy with my Paris pic, but when I did it, my Mum asked if she could put it on her wall, and for that reason I am proud of it! I didn't really want to bring it home again, but don't know what else to do with it, lol!
Pandemic update: Tim's bosses have realised he shouldn't be expected to work and he is shielding at home again. JJ is also at home with his computer once again! We go round in circles!

New towns are popping up everywhere here, came across this one that's marketed as ranch style, looks quite nice. And my trusted Pentax 28mm lens rendered all the tiny numbers legibly (house number, license plates) even in this scaled-down posting, therefore I blurred them out.

It's so much fun trying on my boots. Same outfit purchase in Arizona but with different boots. The brown boots were bought out west while the boots on the left are my 7 inch locking ankle boots
While walking on Venezia streets I saw this woman sitting for a portrait from this street painter. There was something beautiful in her face that caught my eye.

This is a "natural" photograph, no edition (except cropping), no color enhancement.

My Aunt Mabel and Uncle Lars. Mabel was my father's older sister. Since Mabel and Lars were married in 1931, I suspect this is from that year or slightly later. The car is a 1928 Chevrolet.
My Uncle Lars served in WWII with the 187th Field Artillery, 1st Battalion, Anti-tank Battery. Though I don't know particulars, the unit fought in 5 European campaigns, including the Battle of the Bulge.

The crowned crane is the most primitive of the living Gruidae. Primitive species of crowned cranes date back in the fossil record to the Eocene period. Archaeologists discovered that at least eleven species of crowned cranes once existed in Europe and North America. Because crowned cranes are not cold hardy, it is believed they died out in these areas as the earth cooled, and only survived in warmer Africa. --from the ICF.
The International Crane Foundation (ICF) is the only place in the world where you can see all 15 crane species. The ICF works to protect some of the most endangered birds in the world.
This Grey Crowned Crane would approach anyone who viewed his pen--an example of the strong territorial association that most cranes exhibit.
