I enjoyed to do one day trip to Osaka-Minami (Osaka-South area) with my good friend Eric-san on 24th Nov. These stuffed toys are inside of the case of UFO catcher game.

Driven indoors by the incredible heat, I decided to get busy with a little project. Stuffed bunny I named "Isabel", cotton fabrics with a pom-pom tail, 8.5" tall fits my hand perfectly. My pattern, machine and hand sewn. July 2023.
I made the tag-a-long doll from Hillary Lang's fabulous book, Wee Wonderfuls. She was so much fun to make!

A Remí, le encantaría viajar, siempre ha permanecido en casa por miedo a lo desconocido, no es realmente una rata viajera, tan sólo una vez hizo una excursión a un zoo local, pero eso le abrió los ojos al mundo y ahora tiene especial interés por descubrir lo que hay al otro lado de la puerta de casa, para ello le ha pedido a su mejor amiga unas clases de geografía.

A stuffed toy on a young infant's grave. Very moving I thought...not necessarily sad. But the sun was shining, maybe that was it.
o.k., it's time for a new business card and none of the cards I looked through caught my eye. So I created my own. Contact information will be on the backside. What do you think?? I have a couple more ideas I'm working on and can't wait to show you.

99 - Our Daily Challenge - "In the mirror":
I started this as a little joke, but it got me thinking. Let's face it...we spend too much time worrying about the things we perceive as imperfections. In reality, those are what make us unique. Psalm 139:14 says; "I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Good words to remember. My friend has a modern variation of that on a sign in her kitchen. It says "God does not make junk!" We are God's masterpiece, so it's time to believe it and embrace who we are.

I'm not overly happy with this, but I just need to be done. My other ideas didn't work out. Sigh....I took some shots of highly reflective windows in an office complex that were pretty ho-hum. I was amused tho' when the security guard shadowed me for a while. Guess I looked pretty threatening with my camera! lol
I always wanted a happy ending... Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity.

My stuffed toy Edwin the Jellycat. I've had him a long time, around 20 years or more. When I saw this challenge, I immediately thought of Edwin.
There is a glitch in the MacBook photo editing software, which I used to my advantage - instead of blanking out the background, the system duplicates the main subject if the retouching brush is set to a very large size.

It's another grey rainy day here in Scotland, and unlike many areas where the Mooses live isn't getting any snow.
They've decided the best thing to do it just stay in bed with hot chocolates and hope the weather improves.
Playing with my new DSLR. Still got lots to learn. But I will! Slowly but surely...

Wally tries to hide amongst the stuffed squeaky toys. Does this remind you of that scene where E.T. was hiding in the closet full of stuffed animals? Who remembers that?
