Junior heard that the Teddy Bears were having a picnic at the park so he got on his scooter and went down to see and he couldn't believe his eyes.. These were giants for a little guy like him so he didn't hang around very long in case he might get stepped on... Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday, Everybody!!
My little dog Poochie is savoring the last few days of autumn. Just like me, autumn is
her favorite season ;)
Created in MidJourney with the prompt below..
There once was a bear named Andy
He sat in a chair to be handy
He was cuddly and neat
And oh so sweet
And was stuffed but not with candy!!
Very old vintage stuffed black cat from Steiff... I guess my grandma already played with it. Since it is showing of the famous round back and wearing its tail high I felt it would be fun to have it look at its own reflection and reacting buffled... and mb intrigued?
If the teeth of a crocodile are shown,
do not think that it is smiling.

MUTZLI: "Malachi, do you think Her Majesty would think it wrong if I were to lick the whisk? After all, we do have the strawberry sponge cake covered in pink icing."
MALACHI: "Oh no Mutzli!" *Selects a cupcake decorated with pink sprinkles and a pink rabbit.* "Her Majesty went through the war, so she understands about food rationing, and not letting food go to waste. Besides, Mutzli, you know what I always say, when it comes to food."
MUTZLI: "Waste not, want not?"
MALACHI: "Exactly!"
2022 marks the year that Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of devoted and loyal service to her people.
Celebrations will be happening in Britain and around the world during the Platinum Jubilee Central Weekend which takes place from 2nd to 5th June.
Malachi and his cousin Mutzli are enjoying a pink themed tea part in honour of Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee. They are using their pink edged pink rose tea set, and as well as the pink iced strawberry sponge, they are having cupcakes with pink icing and pink strawberry chocolates. And all of this they are having on.... hang on! Malachi. That's my book of old restaurant advertisements you are taking tea on!
MALACHI: "Well, you will insist on leaving your books unattended, Daddy. There was a nice matching pink page to sit on."
MUTZLI and MALACHI: "God save our Queen! Long may she reign over us! Hip-hip hoorah! Hip-hip hoorah! Hip-hip hoorah!"
Malachi I acquired in mid-March 2020 (and mid Coronavirus) from a wonderful Melbourne stalwart toy shop: Dafel Dolls and Bears, when I went looking for a present for one of my goddaughters. Malachi is designed by Mary and hand-made by Wendy Joy in Australia. He has articulated arms and legs, and an extremely sweet face. Malachi was the name he came with, written by hand on his little tag.
Mutzli was a lovely surprise gift from a dear friend in Britain who kindly slipped him into a parcel of other delightful gifts for me. Like Malachi, he is mohair, has articulated arms and legs, and an extremely sweet face. Mutzli got his name from the tiny gold tag around his neck. He is made by Mutzli, a Swiss bear manufacturer since 1949.
MUTZLI: *Singing merrily.* "Anyone can be Santa, even a bear like me..." *Slaps Malachi's brown paw as it reaches for a plate of completed biscuits.*
MALACHI: "Ouch!"
MUTZLI: *Continues singing happily.* "I'll admit I'm underfed, but with a pillow from the bed..." *Slaps Malachi's brown paw as it reaches again for a plate of completed biscuits.*
MALACHI: "Ouch!"
MUTZLI: *Singing happily again.* "I could be Santa Claus."
MALACHI: "Underfed is right, Mutzli!" *Grumbles.*
MUTZLI: "You've had plenty to eat already, Malachi!" *Slaps Malachi's brown paw as it reaches yet again for a plate of completed biscuits.* "You already ate all of my last batch of completed iced Christmas biscuits!"
MALACHI: "Well, I wouldn't say eaten, Mutzli, so much as sampled, for taste testing purposes." *Smiles.*
MUTZLI: "You know perfectly well that those iced Christmas biscuits I made weren't for you. They were for Father Christmas and the Christmas Bear as a treat on Christmas Eve," *Indignant.*
MALACHI: "But it's still a week until Christmas, Mutzli, so there is plenty of time to replenish the stocks."
MUTZLI: "Yes, for me to replenish the stocks. You don't bake, Malachi."
MALACHI: "That is true, Mutzli, but I do eat."
MUTZLI: "Yes, and as a result, I have to bake more Christmas biscuits to replace the ones you 'sampled' so that there will be enough for Father Christmas and the Christmas Bear."
MALACHI: "I'm quite sure that Father Christmas and the Christmas Bear wouldn't miss one or two biscuits if I ate them, Mutzli."
MUTZLI: "One or two, no - a dozen, yes!"
MALACHI: "Well, it was obvious that I had a grumbly tummy, Mutzli. In fact... I still do. Grumbly tummy, Mutzli! Grumbly tummy!" *Rubs tummy vigorously.*
MUTZLI: *Looks warily at Malachi.*
MALACHI: *Smiles and bats eyelashes at Mutzli.*
MUTZLI: *Softens gaze at Malachi.* "Well, I suppose it is Christmas."
MALACHI: "Exactly, and Christmas is all about giving and sharing, Mutzli." *Reaches out paw for a Christmas biscuit.*
MUTZLI: "But just one, mind you Malachi. The rest must be shared with Father Christmas and the Christmas Bear."
MALACHI: "Of course, Mutzli!" *Munches iced Christmas biscuit.* "How could you even think I would eat more than one biscuit?" *Shocked.*
MUTZLI: "Because I know you, Malachi!" *Wags paw at Mutzli.* "Well, Merry Christmas Malachi!"
MALACHI: "Merry Christmas Mutzli, and thank you." *Munches iced Christmas biscuit happily.*
This Christmas I have already been spoiled by some very kind and generous friends who have given me some wonderful gifts that are handmade or specifically aimed at my interests. This includes the Christmas themed cookie cutters and artisan made miniature iced Christmas biscuits on a plate. These were given to me by a very dear friend who has been very generous by giving them to me. Of course as soon as I unwrapped them, I was immediately inspired to take a photo, so I rushed away and set up this 1:12 miniatures scene with two of my 1:12 miniature bears, Malachi and Mutzli.

Ian came in the back room today at Marty's insistence to meet some more of the Bear clan.. Marty thought it best that he meet them a few days before the big celebration and I agreed with him.. Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday, Everybody!!
There seems to be a problem between Little Sister and Big Brother but they didn't want to talk about it in the restaurant...

This is a stuffed tiger toy we found in the kids section of Barnes and Noble bookstore.
People call me ugly,
And other hurtful names,
I'm often ostri-sized,
My feathers used for games.
They say the Ugly-Duckling
Grew up to be a swan,
And though I'm still but very young,
They ask me What went wrong?
I'm left here on my own-some;
And feel so sad and blue,
Well, you would feel the same
If you were an... emu.

being compared to an ostrich.)

I came across this Snoopy wearing a puffy jacket in an Urban Outfitters store, so I just had to snap this photo of him!
These guys are referred to as monkeys - here only 2 of many many more. Whenever Jeannie is happy, or greeting us she is gently picking one and carries it around. To 'get the monkey' (any of her stuffed toys) has become a key-word also where she can get a cookie upon delivery one stuffed toy to us.
During the warmer season she also makes sure that one is being carried outside for fresh air whenever she is wandering onto the terrace or going into the garden. We have to collect them in the evenings but sometimes one is forgotten outdoors. Hence their a bit worn looks. Happy Crazy Tuesday!

I am beginning to feel like this bunny. I haven't gotten desperate enough to try and cut my own hair.

These two adorable bears came with a beautiful children's book called "One Magical Morning" written by Claire Freedman and illustrated brilliantly by Louise Ho. The photo was taken for the group "Looking Close...on Friday" with the theme "Stuffed Toys."
Here's another photo of a cute stuffed toy. :3
