Feeling a bit crabby after shopping in Galveston's "The Strand" historic district (not one of my favorite activities). Saw this stuffed plush toy in one shop. A hermit crab is a crab that takes over the shell of a dead mollusk, so they can be seen in just about any type of shell (except no bivalves such as clams).

this one took FOREVER. and then i put him on top of my fridge and forgot about him for a couple weeks. here he is now.

so i seen a picture like this earlier on tumblr, and i was like hey! i have that. so i just did this for the hell of it.

I asked my husband what he would call this. He considered for a moment, then said "worn out". "Why?" I asked. "Because [the stuffed animal's] outside, and it's lying down." And there you go...good Tuesday to you!
