Blue berry plants in red. Stoller vineyard in distance. Near Dayton & Dundee, Oregon. Hedge five years in the ground. Well over head-high. Already touching.

This entry shows the front and back pages of a short, 12-page A5, study guide by Bro. Leo Murray SM, issued by the Irish Commission for Justice and Peace and Irish Council of Churches in 1982.

This was issued by the project which subsequently became the Churches' Peace Education Programme.

It "focuses on the development of non-violence at a personal level and in a small group context" and is designed for group work in a classroom situation or elsewhere. It is written largely but not exclusively in a Christian context. It is focused, as stated above, on a personal level and does not cover nonviolence as a wider force for societal change or campaigning.

Leo Murray died in 1987. See also www.flickr.com/photos/innateireland/20328171959/in/album-... for more about his life and his 'Credo of nonviolence'.
