Studying sketch
The photo was not well-done, a bit out of focus! The sketch in life differs, for the better)
The last of 70 line studies exploring the use of thick and thin, vertical and horizontal, straight and curved lines.
The current Michelangelo exhibit at the Cleveland Museum of Art features rare drawings and sketches. You can just make out this figure in the reproduction fo the Sistine Chapel fresco in the background.
A group of self portraits that I started after my 27th Birthday. The idea is to not only see my painting develop but also how I view myself.

In May we took a short drive up to Pine Mountain Summit and back. There were still some wildflowers along Highway 33, including this vibrant Scarlet Bugler.
When I first saw what I needed to do for challenge 6 (fill the frame) I had no idea what it meant. I asked some friends for an example and they said it can be anything you want it to be. I took the opportunity to choose something I was doing right then when I was thinking of ideas. I was studying. I wrote on my Whiteboard and it said "Study Time". I edited this photo by cropping the picture just a bit to show that the board is the only thing in the frame.
The 2016 Klawock Lake Predation Study is to determine what is eating what in the Klawock Lake system, specifically what may be predating upon Sockeye Salmon fry.
