My niece Molly posing in the outfit of her choice. Me getting some practice using studio lights to take portraits.
19/365. (Note: I haven't given up on my 365! My family and I were on vacation for two weeks and prior to that I was just too lazy to upload any photos. So, from today until day thirty-eight are way overdue for being put up here. I hope you enjoy my photos regardless!) Yes, I do enjoy being a little creepy and weird sometimes. Not only do I kind of love screamo and metal music, I find the grotesque and weird kind of awesome. I got some new inexpensive studio lights (obviously) and they are pretty cool. I haven't gotten to use them much yet, but I'm excited to learn.
Self portrait taken by a friend. Two studio lights were used in this shot. One being behind the subject while the other is attached with a brollie, 45 degrees from top left corner.
VANESSA LEIGH
FEB. 9, 2010
Fantastic studio session with Vanessa. We will be doing a location shoot next tuesday.
I know its said every time I work with her, but she remains a natural, and we work so well together.
These shots were supposed to be our "warm up" shots before heading outside on location, but her session was cut short and the location shooting was postponed until next week.
Every time I shoot her, she looks like a totally different person. Fantastic.
