I keep forgetting to upload these!

I took these shots October last month at a rented studio for a local clothing company called Blued. They are currently displaying these photos in all their stores nationwide :-)

I went from serious in my previous shots to silly in a hot second. You know me... I like to ham it up a little. I hope you enjoyed this series of shots. I've been working hard to up my game and learn new things. I think my home studio may be open for business sooner than I thought... YIPPEE!!!!

I've been in this particular studio since January of 2006. I've been in this building since 2004, when I started with a much smaller studio.

Sometimes you need to totally change things around to get that shot of newness again.

So, starting at the end of last week, I decided I'd do a big flip of the studio. Everything on one side would go to the other and vice versa.

What I didn't realize is that this is how I should have set the studio up back in 2006. The end that had up until last week been used for computers and printers and stuff is a PERFECT shooting area with no obstructions. I'm a little shocked that I didn't think of it sooner and wonder why it took me seven years to realize it.

The move is pretty much done, just a few small things left but the studio is pretty much back up and going.

Here are two shots of the new layout, which I'm enjoying immensely. The studio also feels much larger now.

I also can't believe the amount of crap that one person can save up over seven years. I had a giant loading cart full of trash. Crazy.

Another shot from yesterday's studio sessions. This is almost entirely SOOTC, just converted to a 7x5 crop ratio and colour-adjusted... one of those shots that just happens, and a good case for the "shoot, shoot, shoot, and shoot some more" school-of-thought towards studio photography.

I like it on so many different levels, hope you like it too.

Set up for some recording, I had some problems with crackle on the combo organ so I had to take her apart.
