This is my 2nd entry for Summer Joust 2020! It shows Leonardo da Vinci studying some of his invented models gliding through the updrafts of the Tuscany.
I had a lot of fun building the scenery and thinking about miniature models resembling some of his famous flying machines, I hope you like it just as much as I do.

... on the third floor/private apartment suite of Casa Grande was William Randolph Hearst's private study and work space. Perhaps it was his 1930s era version of a "man cave".
There are about 3,700 books, including many rare ones, in this room; most are kept on shelfs in the cupboards lining the walls.

A study of the crazy landscape of Keauhou where an old lava flow meets the ocean.
I spent some time climbing up and over the formations of rock along the small stretch of coastline. Every time I came down into an opening a different scene of natural wonders presented itself. Fingers of ocean washing in and out of the cavernous rocks has inspired me to come back.
This is the first image of my study of this unique place.
