In December 1987/January1988, for two incredible weeks, five students from the Western Kentucky University Theater and Dance Department went to London to see as much theater and historical sites as we could possibly pack into the time. I don't think we slept at all.This is me, with my big 80s hair and Louise's cat. I'd stayed behind in London while everyone else went to Paris. I probably would have stayed behind permanently if I hadn't needed to finish university.

Students enrolled in the “Improvisational Forms” dance course at Wesleyan University performed May 6 and May 8 at various locations, and on objects, around campus. The class is designed to explore various approaches to dance improvisation. Students learn to expand movement vocabulary, increase compositional awareness, develop their creative thinking and observational skills, and sharpen their performance presence.The class is taught by Susan Lourie, adjunct professor of dance. i was asked by my instructor on behalf of our school's president to photograph students studying. some were cooperative, others not so much. but all in all i think it went very well :)
