This shot (and most of the roll) was damaged when the exposed roll of 120 film unwound a bit before development. These are students on their way to tour a museum. Times are very difficult in Cuba, but there is light in the eyes of youngsters. I hope their future can be as bright.

This group of students was on a tour of Gettysburg. From the tall tower at Culp's Hill I captured a tilt/shift image of them making them look like scale-sized people.

A small exhibition of photographs by students of Malvern College being displayed in the Malvern Theatres.
A smaller group (possibly higher up in the hierarchy) of the Koenig Friedrich August Schule boys, posing for a picture in what looks like some sort of meeting room with a fantastic table which, like their hats, I would like to travel back in time and steal.
Three of the men seated appear to playing a card game (or, rather pretending to play a card game for the camera) with the others watching. I can't quite tell if the one with the paper is supposed to be keeping score or being distracted from his reading by the thrills of the game.
Up until just now, I was also puzzled about what the boy in the middle had in this mouth, but, I just realized that it must be some kind of very long, fancy pipe. Can anyone recognize what kind it might be?

Native Plant Society of Texas, Trinity Forks Chapter is organizing this outreach to primary schools in the district to try to teach students about the value of native plants. Students are creating art with native plants in the fall semester. A large committee made up of Trinity Forks members are judging the art by the end of the fall semester. Then all art is exhibited in different locations in the city (the two universities, Senior Center, city's public libraries, etc.) and the reception takes place in spring at Denton ISD. Students, parents, siblings, fiends, teachers and school administrators and Trinity Forks members are a big crowd at the reception. The art is exposed everywhere in the reception room. It is a joy to see students coming with their families, going through the the room looking for their creations, and being so happy when they find them.
Back to microscale : I just thought my Micropolis needed a university campus.
This is the Student accommodation. More buildings to come in the next few weeks (hopefully)

My students have passed their final examinations and it is a tradition on the next night for a pub crawl around Stratford upon Avon. The locals are a bit taken aback by all these young people in fancy dress. The weather was not brilliant but everyone was in high spirits.
