Kristen and Stuart's Wedding

So it's that time of year again... Terry and I head out on a week trip on some adventure... and again we headed up into washington... (!)

We decided to open this trip up with the north ridge of stuart and see where it went from there. After hosting a very fun BBQ the night before, I woke up Thursday morning and started to pack... wow, was I unprepared for this trip! Terry showed up around 11 and I just started throwing things into the van... off we went.

We hit the Ingalls trailhead around 5:30PM hoping to get as far as the notch for the first day....

My family attended this church from 1997 until 2001, when we were living in Stuart, VA.

Stuart goes for a ride on the bike while I take pictures.

Mount Stuart, on the Isle of Bute, has been described as Britain's most spectacular Victorian Gothic house. The property of the Mount Stuart Trust, it is the seat of the Crichton-Stuart family, marquesses of Bute. The house was commissioned by the 3rd Marquess to replace an earlier one; the architect was Sir Robert Rowland Anderson. It is surrounded by 300 acres of parkland and woodland. The Bute family still own much of the island, which they have lived on for more than 700 years. On the left of this photograph is part of the Rock Garden, designed by Thomas Mawson during the 1890s.
