Sherif Stuart & June Stuart! One pair of the apple of eyes of Stuart Family. Mr. Sherif loves his younger sister very much and always feeling soooo much shy whenever I tried to take some pictures of them and I consider my self lucky enough to get such an excellent shot being just an outsider amongst them. On the other hand, young June is much brighter than her brother and always there is a slight piece of smile on her face which made my days onto their home more enjoyable!

In fact, I have never seen a little girl cuter and sweeter than June in my entire life. Would like to share her more pictures on my stream and that'd be the proof of that.

Princess Louisa Maria Teresa Stuart (28 June 1692 – 18 April 1712), known to Jacobites as The Princess Royal, was the last child of the deposed King James II and VII (1633–1701) and of his Queen, Mary of Modena. In English, she was called Louisa Maria, in French Louise Marie.

A Royal Stuart Society paper calls Louisa Maria the Princess over the Water, an allusion to the informal title King over the Water of the Jacobite pretenders, none of whom had any other legitimate daughters.

Louisa Maria's father, King James, was King of England, Scotland and Ireland from 6 February 1685 to 11 December 1688, and the last Roman Catholic monarch in the British Isles. With the birth of Louisa Maria's brother, Prince James Francis Edward, the prospect arose of a new Catholic dynasty, and a group of James's leading Protestant subjects brought about the Glorious Revolution of 1688, which replaced James with his Protestant daughter Mary II and son-in-law William III of Orange. Louisa Maria was born in 1692, at Saint-Germain-en-Laye, during her parents' exile.] Due to the huge controversy which had surrounded the birth of her brother, James Francis Edward, with accusations of the substitution of another baby in a warming pan following a still-birth, James II had sent letters inviting not only his daughter, Queen Mary II, to attend the birth in person, but also a large number of other Protestant ladies. The new-born princess was given the names Louisa and Maria in baptism, while Teresa (sometimes spelt Theresa) was added later, at the time of her confirmation. She was given the name Louisa in honour of King Louis XIV, who acted as her godfather. Her godmother was King Louis's sister-in-law, Elizabeth Charlotte, Princess Palatine, Duchess of Orléans.

After the birth, James II declared that Louisa Maria had been sent by God as a consolation for her parents at the time of their distress, and in later years she was often referred to as La Consolatrice.

In April 1712, both James Francis Edward and his sister fell sick with smallpox. While the Old Pretender recovered, Louisa Maria died on 18 April (8 April, Old Style)at the age 0f 19 and was buried with her father at the Church of the English Benedictines in Paris.

She was a hlaf sister of queen Anne

Henry Stuart (1885-?) was a British-Swiss actor, director and writer, who worked mostly in German silent cinema.

Henry Stuart was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1885, as Court Henry Edouard Hess, the son of a British colonial employee. Shortly before 1900 he returned to Britain and grew up mostly in Paris. He visited art academy in Munich, planning to become painter. Shortly before World War One broke out, he was in Vienna, where he established his first contacts in the film world. During the war Stuart stayed in Britain, but afterwards returned to Germany and in 1922 he started his highly successful career as actor in silent cinema there, often performing the gentleman and noble lover. Probably his first part was a small one in Ein Glas Wasser (1922) by Ludwig Berger, followed by Die Perrücke (Berthold Viertel 1924) in which he played the major part of Julian, the lover of the Princess (Jenny Hasselqvist), whose husband (Otto Gebühr) tries to separate them . In the classic Die freudlose Gasse/Joyless Street (G.W. Pabst 1925), set during the Viennese Depression, Stuart plays Egon Stirner, the secretary of an international speculator. He is arrested for the murder of a lawyer’s wife, but the culprit is the penniless Maria Lechner (Asta Nielsen), in love with Stirner.

Next followed Die Strasse des Vergessens (Heinz Paul 1925) with Hella Moja, Das Abenteuer der Sybille Brant (Carl Froehlich 1925) with Henny Porten, Unter Ausschluss der Öffentlichkeit (Conrad Wiene 1926) with Maly Delschaft, Schenk mir das Leben (Klaus Fery 1926), Liebelei (Jakob & Luise Fleck, 1926/27) with Fred Louis Lerch and Evelyn Holt, Die versunkene Flotte (Manfred Noa 1926) with Nils Asther, Die zwei und die Dame (Alwin Neuss 1926) with Agnes Esterhazy and Bernhard Goetzke, Derby (Max Reichmann 1926) with Barbara Annenkoff, Der Mann im Feuer (Erich Waschneck 1926) with Helga Thomas, Das Mädchen ohne Heimat (Constantin J. David 1926) with Jenny Hasselqvist, Wenn Menschen reif zur Liebe werden (J&L Fleck 1927) with Evelyn Holt, Die geheime Macht (Waschneck 1927) with Walter Rilla, Die Frau mit dem Weltrekord (Waschneck 1927) with Lee Parry, Der Bettler vom Kölner Dom (Rolf Randolf 1927) with Hanni Weisse, and Der Skandal in Baden-Baden (Waschneck 1928) with Brigitte Helm and Ernst Stahl-Nachbaur. In 1928 Stuart went to India to stage there the feature film Der Ring der Bajadere, as well as direct the documentaries Nuri, der Elefant and Der Maharadscha von Mysore hat Geburtstag (1929). Returned, Stuart played his last roles in silent film: the industrialist Erwin Voss in Das Recht auf Liebe (J&L Fleck 1929), and Kaiser Franz in the part-talkie Der Günstling von Schönbrunn (1929), starring Ivan Petrovich and Lil Dagover and directed by Erich Waschneck but Max Reichmann did the talking part direction.

In the sound era Stuart didn’t find much work. In 1933 he directed a short, Zwischen 12 und 2, based on the play Hotelratten. In 1938 he co-wrote the script for the Yiddish-American production The Power of Life. He became Swiss citizen and in 1941 he released the only feature sound film directed by him: Krischna. Abenteuer im indischen Dschungel, codirected and conscripted with Lola Kreuzberg, whose company had already produced Stuart’s films in India in 1928-1929. In 1942 Stuart played a British enemy in the colonial feature Germanin (Max W. Kimmich). In 1943 he had a little part as again a British lord in the all-star super-production Münchhausen (Josef von Baky 1943). In Berlin Stuart performed in particular at the Englischen Theater Deutscher Schauspieler and worked for the radio as well as manuscript and title translator. According to German Wikipedia, Stuart’s death year 1942, indicated in several online sources is wrong, but if he lived on, he didn’t act anymore.

Historical Marker:

This historic house was built in 1858 for United States Senator Charles E. Stuart. As one of the leading lawyers and Democratic politicians of his day, Stuart naturally desired a house befitting his position. Thus it included tile and marble from Italy, stenciled and wood-paneled walls, Tiffany light fixtures, a great ballroom, and Kalamazoo’s first indoor bathroom! Stables and beautiful gardens were found on the estate. Stuart died in 1887. The Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity acquired the house in 1956.

More Stuarts!! This is the M3 Stuart Recce. An adaptation by the British as a recon vehicle. After a while, it was determined that the M3 and M5 could not hold up against front-line Panzer III and IVs. They were instead used as recon vehicles. Despite their lack of a major punch, they could still shoot and scoot. Most Panzers could not keep up with them in the soft sands of North Africa.

Synopsis

As “Love and Kisses” Finnegan scoots over the last white line with the ball tucked safely under his arms to even State’s score with Colton, there is more than a football game at stake. Finnegan has his heart set on Gloria Van Dayham, fiancee of Larry Stacey, who plays a piccolo in the college band. And Gloria is seeing things more and more Finnegan’s way.

All set to kick the winning point, Finnegan hesitates because Joe and his Duck, the team mascot, have not shown up yet. Suddenly a taxi rolls into the stadium to disgorge Joe, with Duck under one arm, waving a piece of paper on which he has just worked out a crazy trick play. Finnegan kicks the goal and wins the game.

THAT evening Finnegan is acclaimed the A. P. All-American choice and gets along famously with Gloria. Everybody is happy but Larry who says, bitterly, that Finnegan will be glad to get a job behind the ribbon counter in Larry’s father’s store after graduation.

Two years pass and Larry’s prophecy comes true. Finnegan goes to Stacey’s father who is fed up with his son’s ultra refined merchandizing methods, sells him the big idea of modernizing the store with “collegiate” atmosphere, and wins appointment as general manager.

Larry, realizing that he has been outwitted by Finnegan again, wants to resign, but his little secretary, June, gives him a fight talk and he decides to stay around for a chance to even scores.

The store, with the entire State football team, brass band and sales girls in chorus costumes, opens with a bang. Their success is so phenomenal that Stacey’s competitor Whimple, hires the Colton bunch to do the same thing for him.

THE rivalry grows keener until finally the two department store owners decide to match their football teams for the honor of their respective stores—and a substantial cash wager.

Whimple’s team employs all sorts of skullduggery to get ahead of the Staceys. Larry, who has been goaded into entering the game by June, is taking a terrific licking.

Just when things look darkest, Finnegan decides to use Joe’s goofy play from Whimple’s five-yard-line, and, to their surprise and joy, they go over for the winning score.

In the midst of the celebration and congratulations that follow the game, Larry and Finnegan agree that they are both “swell guys.” Larry further tells Finnegan that so far as he is concerned Finnegan can have Gloria he had just found out that he loves June. And he runs out to tell her so.
