Immediately S of a slipway 30m W of the gate lodge for Knock Castle (NS16SE 6) is a brick and concrete building with a flat roof. The building measures approximately 4m by 8m and is about 3.3m in height. It has four ventilators on the long side and two on the ends. The purpose to which this building was put is not known but it is almost certainly of military construction. At the N end a new rolling door has been fitted and its present use is possibly a garage.

Multiple calls to the ERC of a structure fire at 46 Silver St were found to be true. First due companies found an occupied multiple dwelling with heavy smoke and fire on the third floor and attic. Engines 2 and 7 made the forward attack while the crew of engine 3 accessed the roof with extension ladders and began to open up. Rescue 9 and Truck one began the primary searches which turned out to be negative and the crew of Engine 10 assumed the RIT duties. Ten minutes in command requested a fourth engine to assist the crews on scene and Engine 4 was promptly dispatced. With all companies working the fire was brought under control in about 25 minutes though crews would be chasing hot spots and overhauling for atleast another 30 minutes. One civilan was transported to the hospital for observation and evaluation of possible snoke inhalation.

Another volume scan of the monster EF-5 Hackleburg - Phil Campbell tornado, during the April 2011 Super Outbreak. In this scan, you can clearly see the structure of the tornado; the red shading indicates the more intense inner vortex, which does most of the damage and sucks debris up into the storm. The yellow shading indicates the less intense outer vortex, while the blue and purple shading indicates the slow-moving outermost 'shell' of the tornado, as well as the surrounding clouds.
