The Richardson Building is a commercial structure located in Union City, Oklahoma. Constructed in 1910 as a bank building, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.[3][4]

The building was a center of commerce for the town of 300 people. A fire destroyed the interior of the structure in 1928, but the roof was replaced and the building was restored.[3] The Bank of Union moved its operations to a new building in 1977, and the Richardson Building fell into disrepair.

A grade II listed structure, the Tees Newport Bridge was originally constructed in 1934 and was designed to lift up to allow boats to pass through on the River Tees underneath. To celebrate its 80th birthday it recently had a repaint in its original grey and red colours, not that you may see them in this photograph as it also had a new LED lighting system installed which allows it to be lit up in an array of colours.

With all of the steel and its hulking presence it is almost reminiscent of something out of a space sci-fi movie.

As a photographer this is what appeals to me about this image: The patterns in the girders, the rainbow colours running down the sides of the uprights and the patterns the shadows make on some of the blue beams.

The Yueh Hai Ching Temple in Singapore, built in 1826 and renovated in 1855, is a great example of southern Chinese temple architecture, specifically in the Teochew architectural style from the Qing Dynasty. It is a Taoist temple.

The current structure of this shrine dates back to 1850 and then was substantially renovated in 1895. Since then, it has undergone several restorations.

The temple was designated as a National Monument of Singapore in 1996. Its restoration and conservation in 2011 earned the Award of Merit at the 2014 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Awards.

The courtyard of Yueh Hai Ching Temple, enclosed by surrounding walls and buildings, possesses a sense of introspection.

Its seclusion from the outside world creates a tranquil, self-contained space, as a serene retreat within the temple grounds.

This is a real photo with an exposure time of 0.8 seconds.

This is one exposition.

I was inspired by the works of Harold Ross, especially "Burnt Offerings I". When I found a structure that matched my idea of the images I wanted to make, I thought it was worth showing such an object as a levitating one. For a long time I was looking for a way to take this photo at home.

The most difficult in this photo was to show the object and space so that a shadow with a hole could be seen confirming the free hovering of the object.

The object has dimensions of 64x64x50 mm.

This is a version made in the dark with additional lighting with several colored mini flashlights and a laser.

I also exhibited a version in full light (lighting comes from lamps on the ceiling of the room) - both photos were taken simply on a winter evening.

Amalfi, Italy, 2017

Italian beaches are different. Everywhere else you just bring your umbrella and what else and then just choose your spot in the sand. Not in Italy! Nearly all beaches are privatized here. You pay for access and rent an umbrella, sunbed and chairs. Because of this business, it looks very structured and orderly.

Funny enough, I usually would expect this from my neurotic and overly orderly fellow Germans ;-)

I have no idea what these are for. Pretty substantial looking whatever they are

The last two days of New Mexico White Sands shots have me wanting to return to storm pics... so here's another one. When a cloud takes on unusual shapes we call it structure... here's some.

Thank you everyone for your visit, favorites and comments.

Whilst on a family trip to Valencia, a visit to the City of Arts culture and science was a great experience. Here is an angle undershot of its modern structure.

Naturally created structure on muskmelon peel.

I visited this famous area for the first time and immediately forgot to bring my highly necessary tripod plate. Fortunately, Rob and later Karin were there and we had a nice chat about our mutual hobby....Fortunately, I still managed to get the chance to take this shot and clearly have another reason to return there.....:)

This is the outside wall of the Küppersmühle Museum in Duisburg which is a former industrial mill transformed into an art museum now. This was done by the same architects which transformed the Modern Tate in London, Herzog & de Meuron.

Dates From: 1858

Original Location: Baden, Ontario (Wilmot Township)

Jacob Beck built the Wilmot Township Hall in 1858, in Baden, Ontario, to house the Fifth Division Court of the County of Waterloo. The timber frame structure with clapboard siding was one of the most important public buildings in a growing community. Here an elected council met once a month to deal with issues of local government. The circuit judge also presided regularly over court to settle small claims, contract disputes and property rights issues.

The building was moved to Black Creek Pioneer Village in 1967 and restored in 1970. It remains a popular location for wedding ceremonies.

Photographed while exploring with Alice-san, Kageyama-san, Lonny, Mamoru-san, and Yoshikatsu-san. Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. November 4, 2019.
