“Why it's simply impassible!
Alice: Why, don't you mean impossible?
Door: No, I do mean impassible. (chuckles) Nothing's impossible!”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland / Through the Looking-Glass
“The one who falls and gets up is stronger than the one who never tried. Do not fear failure but rather fear not trying.”

"Lookin' in your eyes
I see a paradise
This world that I've found is too good to be true
Standin' here beside you
Want so much to give you
This love in my heart that I'm feeling for you
Let 'em say we're crazy
I don't care about that
Put your hand in my hand
Baby, don't ever look back
Let the world around us
Just fall apart
Baby, we can make it
If we're heart to heart
And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us
Nothing's gonna stop us now
Oh, whoa
I'm so glad I found you
I'm not gonna lose you
Whatever it takes
I will stay here with you
Take you to the good times
See you through the bad times
Whatever it takes
Is what I'm gonna do
Let 'em say we're crazy
What do they know?
Put your arms around me
Baby, don't ever let go
Let the world around us
Just fall apart
Baby, we can make it
If we're heart to heart"

Community=Unity. Vibrant and uplifting depiction of our community coming together to thank our healthcare workers and support the patients and their family.

I wish I'd been able to make it to the People's Vote march in London today to show my support but unfortunately I couldn't go so I have settled for making an image instead.
I was grateful to be a learning spectator at the Saugeen First Nation #29 annual pow-wow. Competitors were formidable, especially the youth. The inclusivity was inspiring. Regalia, mind-blowing — rich with artistry and detail.
Saugeen First Nation is an Ojibway First Nation located along the Saugeen River and Bruce Peninsula. It is part of the Chippewas of Saugeen Ojibway Territory, which includes neighbouring Chippewa of Nawash Unceded First Nation.
I am exploring Indigenous history and culture through travel, photography and self-directed learning. If I have misunderstood, or made any misrepresentations, please correct me by e-mail markmccauley@protonmail.com.

Human chain for freedom of our neighbors Belarusians.
The Baltic Way was a peaceful political demonstration that occurred on 23 August 1989. Approximately two million people joined their hands to form a human chain spanning 675.5 kilometres across the Baltic states – Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, which were considered at the time to be constituent republics of the Soviet Union.

Caption: Bibekananda Tripathi, 42, first met his wife Sasmita, 35, at school in their hometown Bhubhaneshwar in Odisha. It was a bond born out of love and empathy. They were both visually impaired and became close friends while learning how to negotiate a dark world at Bhima Bhoi School for the Blind. Twenty-five years later, Bibekananda’s job as a stenographer with the Central government led them to Delhi, where they live in a two-room government accommodation in RK Puram in South Delhi. On busy Delhi streets, most people help Bibekananda and his wife negotiate the traffic and people, but he gets more help from people from poorer sections than from the busy middle-classes. “We rarely step out at night because of drunk-driving. People who drink and drive are even more blind than the two of us,” laughs Sasmita.
