Mavhuradonha Wilderness Area, N Zimbabwe.

We almost stepped on this ball of fluff, thinking it was a fallen nest. Then we realized what it was and that it had probably walked out of its nest about 2m up in the tree. It certainly looked like it was being cared for judging by the small mouse lying next to it.

Location: Kawartha Highlands, Ontario, Canada

Barred Owl sitting in ISO 3200 shade. At least it wasn't moving around like a Pacific Wren which required ISO 4000.
