My expensive burger! what a disaster and disappointment :(. The truffles were nice and fragrant, but the meat was tough, stringy and not at all pleasant in taste. I would never recommend this dish to anyone. Save your $40!!!
"I'm innocent!" He's more active and feisty than the older Weakerthans kittens I'm fostering. They're born tough in "Greenpernt". Note: the pink thing does not become him and is probably too stringy to be safe for kittens. I'll have to find something more suitable for his next clip!

Wish the duck's skin was crisper and more fat rendered, but loved the bloody rare meat and the sweet-savory seasoning. The finely shredded Tokyo negi was special, and though stringy the sweet, carmelized roasted onion bulb showed the second side of these green onions. Bamboo shoots were not as offensive as I've found them in the past here, maybe not as far gone on the fermentation cycle this time, and I did eat them to add more vegetable matter to the composition of this glorious ramen offering.

After acquiring a Beatty secrets Barbie head in my most recent doll bundle i decided to give her a makeover. Her hair was a stringy yellow dry mess, plus someone had cut parts of it off so I decided to give her a reroot. I preferred how she looked with platinum hair rather than the golden blonde anyway, so it wasn’t a hard decision in which colour to choose. I didn’t have her body unfortunately so I used a superstar bent arm body as it was the next best thing for that era. Luckily the bundle also came with her bodice, however it needed a repair as the stitching had come undone. I already had her jacket in my clothes case so I finally have the doll to wear it. Finally I gave her some earrings and a ring to finish the look. I’m really pleased with how she turned out, also I have wanted beauty secrets Barbie for some time as she’s one of my fave dolls, and now I finally have her.

"Boron nitride nanotubes imaged part way through catalyzing a reaction of propane and oxygen to propene and water. The nanotubes begin as fluffy, stringy tubes and are converted to ordered, towering monoliths during catalysis.
Catalysts enable chemical reactions to take place faster and use less energy, making them highly valuable in large-scale reactions. However, the starting material is not always the active catalyst. This image was taken part way into a reaction and shows the unexpected re-organizing of the catalyst, which we hypothesize is how the catalyst becomes active.
Scanning electron microscopy provides a visual method for understanding how a catalyst restructures. The image was collected on a scanning electron microscope (LEO Supra55 VP) using an accelerating voltage of 2 keV."

Root - cooked. Thin and stringy. The flower clusters can be french-fried to produce a carrot-flavored gourmet's delight. The aromatic seed is used as a flavoring in stews etc.. The dried roasted roots are ground into a powder and are used for making coffee.
CAUTION: Carrots sometimes cause allergic reactions in some people[46]. Skin contact with the sap is said to cause photo-sensitivity and/or dermatitis in some people.
MEDICINAL USES: Anthelmintic; Carminative; Contraceptive; Deobstruent; Diuretic; Emmenagogue; Galactogogue; Ophthalmic; Stimulant.
The wild carrot is an aromatic herb that acts as a diuretic, soothes the digestive tract and stimulates the uterus. A wonderfully cleansing medicine, it supports the liver, stimulates the flow of urine and the removal of waste by the kidneys. The whole plant is anthelmintic, carminative, deobstruent, diuretic, galactogogue, ophthalmic, stimulant. An infusion is used in the treatment of various complaints including digestive disorders, kidney and bladder diseases and in the treatment of dropsy. An infusion of the leaves has been used to counter cystitis and kidney stone formation, and to diminish stones that have already formed. Carrot leaves contain significant amounts of porphyries, which stimulate the pituitary gland and lead to the release of increased levels of sex hormones. The plant is harvested in July and dried for later use. A warm water infusion of the flowers has been used in the treatment of diabetes. The grated raw root, especially of the cultivated forms, is used as a remedy for threadworms. The root is also used to encourage delayed menstruation. The root of the wild plant can induce uterine contractions and so should not be used by pregnant women. A tea made from the roots is diuretic and has been used in the treatment of urinary stones. The seeds are diuretic, carminative, emmenagogue and anthelmintic. An infusion is used in the treatment of oedema, flatulent indigestion and menstrual problems. The seed is a traditional 'morning after' contraceptive and there is some evidence to uphold this belief. It requires further investigation. Carrot seeds can be Abortifacient and so should not be used by pregnant women.

An essential oil obtained from the seed has an orris-like scent. It is used in perfumery and as a food flavoring. The oil has also been used cosmetically in anti-wrinkle creams.

Landscape: Undulating Low Hills on a north-west slope of low rise (7%) with native vegetation of Yellow stringy bark, Gippsland grey box, and Black wattle. The soils formed from Neogene sediments.
Chromosols (Australian Soil Classification) display strong texture contrast between the surface (A) horizons and the clay subsoil (B) horizons. The subsoil is also not strongly acid, i.e. pH is greater than 5.4 in water, and non-sodic (at least in the upper horizons). There may be a bleached subsurface (A2) horizon overlying the clay subsoil.

Jean was eager to try this stuff. I missed catching her trying the first bite. It is slippery, and sort of slimy, but in a good way. Jean gave her approval of it.
According to Jonathan Carpenter (if I remember what he shared) the white stringy stuff is left over from the tracheal system of the larva.
Duck tongue marinated in soy sauce, with bits of the throat. The texture is soft cartilage and smooth mostly with a bit of stringy meat, it takes a little work to get out all the good bits. Comfort food from my childhood *nodnod*
Emerald Pool is the most colorful and famous of Black Sand Basin's features. It is a deep emerald green color with yellow and orange fringes forming the outer ring of the pool. The color is the result of a lower temperature, 154.6 degrees Fahrenheit, which have allowed yellow bacteria and algae to grow on the lining of the pool. The clear water of the pool reflects the blues but asborbs the other hues of the color spectrum, and the combination produces its green color. The outer ring is a fringe of yellow and orange, where the temperatures are cooler due to a change in bacteria and algae growth.
The temperature of the water can be determined by the color of the algae living in it:
Stringy pale yellow or pink strands = over 180°F
Bright Yellow = 160°F
Brilliant Orange = 145°F
Dark Brown = 130°F
Pure Green = 120°F
I got a great stain from this mystery henna. It's some kind of stringy henna I got that will stain even the thinnest skin areas.

Phoebes are a Flycatcher and like to perch beside open meadows. They will swoop off their perch and make sharp turns as the capture winged insects in flight. A pair will claim a meadow area and fly between favorite perches.
I like the stringy vines and the old stick on an angle.
