Mount-Field-Nationalpark, Mount Field National Park, TAS: der Park zeichnet durch eine besondere Vegetationsvielfalt aus. Neben Waldgebieten mit hohen Swamp Gums, einer Eukalyptusart, gibt es riesige Baumfarne, Regenwald und alpine Vegetation in den höher gelegenen Gebieten. Einige der bis zu 400 Jahre alten Bäume haben eine Höhe von 90 m und einen Umfang von 20 m.
Completely popped, guts on tissue, legs mangled (some broken off), post-twitch, self-resurrected, and now trying to escape. Wondering what the organic-looking globs and out-of-place stringy things are? They're spider guts that I didn't quite manage to smear. Fortunately for me, the spider didn't make it very far; it was glued onto the tissue by its own gooey guts.
These next 3 are very seem very samey on first glance, but i found that the different placement of the glitter stringy bit changed the feel of the overal image somewhat so they are all in so that can be compaired

Lunch partner, Jimmy Stubb (pseudonym), profers forward the Hoison. It had been too long, nearly four weeks, since last sucking up the stringy noodles'n'chili sauce w/ Hoison at the old Viet-Thai. The spring rolls at Thai Garden proved to absorbant to general fish sauce moisture.
we found a few masses of flying fish eggs floating in the sargassum. the fish take bundles of the sargassum and tie them together with this stringy mucus like substance, and lay thousands of eggs into it. this is jeff holding one of the masses.
it made so many different formations--sometimes little lumpies like this, sometimes long, stringy things that looked like hair, sometimes big old clumps. I have an inordinate number of pictures of salt cuz I kind of couldn't get enough of it. heh.

That white stringy thing to right of the sea urchin is a Spaghetti worm. First time I noticed so many of them.

i love her but her hair needs HELP. it's that weird stringy texture almost like a kamar? which greatly improves after a wash, if i recall correctly?
Came back from holiday to find that the rocket we'd planted had shot, and gone to flower and some to seed. Doesn't seem to affect the taste of the leaves, but the plants do look a bit stringy.

Double Top Mountain Overlook Area
There are so many beautiful wildflowers and butterflies around this particular overlook that you forget to look at Double Top Mountain across the valley!!
Here we have Phlox, Oswego Tea (Bergamot Beebalm), Green Headed Coneflowers, something funny looking I can't identify, and lots of other little dainty wildflowers. There is also quite a stand of "Dodder" (orange stringy stuff with white flowers) is also present . this is an invasive parasite and has a tendency to "take over" if you aren't careful, but it adds a LOT of color to the roadside, and Monarchs who will come through in September will really love it!
