Mom's tacos, $1.89 each. Large, one carnitas (a little stringy but very tasty) and soft tongue with little flavor at all. Both had the same roasted tomato salsa. A help-yourself salsa bar had pico de gallo and a very nice tomatillo-avocado salsa that was HOT.

People are freaking out over how cool this doll is and with good reason! Her face-up is gorgeous, she has musical note scars molded into her plastic that cascade down the left side of her face onto her shoulder and arm which lead into that black and red tattoo, and her stock (not pictured) is extremely cool. Of course I get antsy leaving these dolls in their stock clothes so within a few hours of getting her I was already changing her! I thought SS Ghoulia's retro 50's outfit was a perfect match to Operetta's big victory rolls. Really the only thing not impressive about her is that all her hair behind the rolls is flat, stringy, and unruly. Otherwise she's pretty much perfect, and easily one of the best Monster High dolls yet!
Sooo, this is the shower. We were convinced that the man just never showered (I mean, WHO COULD STEP INTO THAT THING WITHOUT DYING) until we showed up for the final inspection of the house (I guess "final inspection" just meant "has it collapsed on itself yet?") and his hair was wet... and so was the shower. Apparently he DID use it.
Imagine, for a moment, that you can reach into the photo and move that pink towel on the right (WE'RE IMAGINING, STOP CRYING OVER THERE)... you know how when something gets reallllly moldy, the mold grows hair? Like, long, stringy hairs of mold? YEAH. The soap dish that's covered by that towel was just COVERED in 6" tall black mold hairs. BAAAAAAAARF.

Sorghum cane, a crop grown on many mountain farms, was used to produce sorghum molasses. The cane was fed between the roller of the animal-powered cane mill, which squeezed out the juice. The juice was then boiled over the furnace until it turned into thick, dark, stringy molasses. Ten gallons of juice yielded about one gallon of molasses. "Long sweetening" as it was called, was used in dozens of recipes and as a syrup (Text from a National Park Service sign at the site.)
The yellow stringy stuff in this picture is actually a parasite which grows all over the other ground-cover plants and strangles them. It looks almost like silly string or spider webs and is sticky -- very strange!
I realised the other day that my favourite gravy recipe is actually 100% vegetarian. In fact it might even be vegan...? For all the American's out there - this is what us Brits cover our roast dinner's in...and it's AWESOME.
It's really easy to do - but you need a bit of time:
Slam a load of finely chopped veg in to a roasting dish - I used courgette, leeks, red onion and celery here, but you can use anything. Fleshy veg is better - things like squash, aubergine, courgettes, marrow, suede are all amazing.
Toss it with plenty of olive oil and roast in the oven for about 30 mins turning regularly. I let this one go a little too far - you want to avoid charring any of the veg.
Once you've got your roasted, caramalised lovliness, add about half a pint of hot water to the roasting dish and mash the veg with a potato masher. If you need to add more water, do so. This should give you a loose paste of roasted veg, with enough juice in it so you can work a spoon on any darker bits that have stuck to the tray and add their flavour to the mix.
If you don't mind having nice veggie bits in your gravy, or you're using soft veg like squash that turn in to a thick paste then you don't need to sieve the mixture - just go straight to the pan.
If you are using leeks or anything stringy like celery then pass the whole lot through a sieve in to the saucepan, adding a little water as you go to help it move through while grinding it in the sieve with a wooden spoon.
Once you've got your mix in the saucepan, add some leftover wine. I've normally got half a bottle of red or white sitting next to my hob - chuck that in and boil the gravy mixture. You'll need to let it boil properly to remove the alcohol, otherwise it turns bitter. If it's very thick or is sticking then add more water, you can let it reduce later.
This should taste pretty good. You may need to add salt / pepper to taste - do so once it's reasonably well reduced. If it's still has not enough body once it's got really thick, then you may want to consider organic veg with some flavour!
If it's a total disaster (it won't be) a veggie stock cube will bring it round. Even Vegemite will do it - it's really the salt content that makes you taste the flavours in the gravy.
Serve hot and watch everyone freak about how good it is!
Zinnia flower in the process of unfurling its petals. I really love this picture, especially full size. For some reason it makes me hungry. It kinda looks like the curled petals are made of candy coated with sugar on the outside and those stringy things remind me of spaghetti. *lol*

According to Quantum FFF Theory Axions are so called dark matter Quantum Knots or Glueballs, based on three or four interlocking stringy EM photons created by solar flare interference. The XMM Newton observatory seem to have recently identified solar Axions by measuring the seasonal variable x-ray result.
Large Axions with multiple interlocking photons are called Dark Matter Black Holes, incidentaly expelled from the sun and assumed to form primordial Comet nuclei.

Mal, I love her, the details are great and so is the quality, love the outfit and everything, only small problem is the hair it's super gelled tried getting out went a bit stringy, but apart from that I love her.

Super crispy, like a Potato Galette! Filled inside is a Mozzarella-like Stringy cheese that has a hint of salty tang. To complement this greatness, is a grassy Watercress and vine ripened Cherry Tomatoes from the Chef's rooftop garden. Superb!

These little creatures are about the size of a (short) grain of rice. They were in considerable numbers under the bark of a Stringy Bark Eucalypt, where I often see Tree Creepers working.

This is the greenest lingcod I have ever seen. Lingcod operate on the principle that if they don't move, you can't see them. They make for good subjects. The little white stringy things on his body are parasitic copepods. They must itch since it appears that he scratched his face trying to get them off
