Ernie Ball. I'd say I use medium gauge for the strings (45-65-85-105). The bottom two strings are pretty heavy. I strum hard so if it's too light, the strings get floppy and hit the pickup making the click sounds. They are stainless so very bright sounding. Also these Slinky strings tend to be very smooth on the surface, making it easy for me to slide along the strings.
For picks, I use either medium or heavy picks, depending on the mood or songs. But I have to say, these nylon picks last for a long time. I haven't broken or chipped one yet. So unless you lose these, they will last you for a very long time.

Update June 25, 2007 - Just got word from the organizers that both my prints sold. Which not only means money in my pocket, but also that I now have two conversation pieces in peoples homes. Maybe that'll get the ball rolling for me, one never does know.
Wadsworth Strings
The Wadsworth Strings Ensemble features music for classical strings, from the symphonies of Mozart and Haydn, to well known arias from the operas of Puccini and Bizet, adding in a selection of continental Viennese waltzes and French cabaret. Musicians of The Claremont Strings Ensemble have performed collectively at Weill Hall, Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and throughout the Northeast, playing a diverse range of symphonic and chamber music, eclectic jazz, and gypsy swing. Wadsworth Strings, emanating from the Washington Heights area, is a division of Claremont Strings, founded by Vivian Penham, a graduate of the Juilliard School and Columbia University.
This photograph uses sets of parallel vertical lines. One can gauge distance through the convergence of the strings on each successive guitar neck. Further, the eye is drawn to the detailed texture on the strings. This image also uses the rule of thirds to establish the strings as a focal point.
