The Albert Hall is just about one of the best buildings in the world. It's like a catherdral, except sometimes it is rammed full of people, all reverent and buzzing to see what they came to see. The atmosphere is electric and going to the proms is something that everything should do. It only costs five pounds! What is stopping you?!?!?
The winner of the Avison Ensemble Young Musicians’ Awards 2015 Grades 1-3 category being presented with her engraved Award by Chairman of The Literary and Philosophical Society, Paul Gailiunas.
Our children's ‘In Celebration!’ concert showcased some of the best young musical talent in the North East. Winners from this year's Avison Ensemble Young Musicians' Awards performed and were joined by the Whickham Viol Consort.
The concert included the presentation of the 2015 Young Musicians' Awards by the Chairman of The Literary and Philosophical Society who also presented the winners with a year's membership of the Lit and Phil's library. The engraved glass awards were created by the North East glass artist Dominic Fonde and are inscribed with music from the Avison workbooks. These are displayed in the winners' schools for a year. The Awards were founded in 2006 and were this year hosted by The Lit and Phil. www.litandphil.org.uk

I'd made a comment about few males being seen at flea-markets in Spain. There are exceptions: when marido is (literally) holding the purse-strings!!
Well, violins and viola anyway. I think this is probably the only photo of Mum and I playing together.
