Even though I am not finnished my first string quilt, I couldn't help start another one. Such a great way to use up scraps.
Hot Potatoes, Swanston St. A nice alternative to those lame bourgie bags, though arguably equally bourgie.

Taken for Our Daily Challenge topic - 'String'
the title basically says it all. I was trying to get a pic of what a string pluck looks like, and so I set the camera on multi take, and I must have taken 500 of these things before I got a few semi-decent ones (wait, why did I need to take a picture of a bass string being plucked again?)

Dylan Tomine's String Worm is shown here in two sizes—the 3 smaller ones are about 4” long. The 6" big one is pretty tough to cast on a 4 wt. so consider a going up to a 5 or 6.
I appliqued (raw edge) my nephew's first and second names to the back to make up for the fact that I didn't have enough of the backing fabric and because my nephew is very particular about how some things are "his very own".
You can see the quilting from this side. I quilted a diamond pattern on the blocks.
