I had the opportunity to visit an Orchid garden while in the Dominican Republic where there were so many varieties of this beautiful flower.
Thanks for viewing and have a great day!
The string theory I put out a few days ago I played with it to get more jumping into the hyperwarp drive. Saturation can come in the dark side of the spectrum too.
I had a few choices for this weeks theme but just couldn't get the right image, so this is the best I could come up with.

Macro Mondays theme string. Part of a spindle just over two inches. White, black and blue. We used this because it is almost unbreakable. We would string it through walls to pull computer wires.

Working with highlights again to achieve a balance with shadow.
Contrast got a little out of hand but manageable. Unfortunately I cannot achieve what the eye see's with the camera. If anyone has any ideas feel free to comment.

In this picture I focused on the “ E “ string of a MIJ Richie Kotzen Telecaster electric guitar. This guitar features golden machine heads on a solid maple head and neck. This was taken on a sunny day, which helped to obtain the warm tones.
The “E” string is part of a light gauge string set (0.009 – 0.042), which is perfect for bends and speed. So, the “E” string is 0.042” in diameter as you may have guessed. As a reference, the tuning post is 0.5” in height.
Thank you everyone for your visits, faves, and kind comments
Metal stairs at the back of a commercial property. I wonder what that string was for - it must be long forgotten now.
