Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!

Today is Monday… again …. And it is also a red day at Color My World Daily and the theme at Macro Monday Group is string.

I cut this string myself, just to discover that there was another, thinner, string inside the first one ! So I guess, that makes my string super strong…. But no matter how strong your string is , be careful: you never know when it will break !!

I truly hope you will never be in the situation of my tiny paper boat (it is not even 1cm long) : on a very fragile and thin string !! And if you are: hang on, maybe there is another string inside the first one !!! There is always hope !!

See you later my friends !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and healthy!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

Vas'ka likes to play with a string attached to a stick. Previously, there was a toy kitten at the end of the lace, but Yashka tore it off.

Thank you all for visits, favs and comments, it's greatly appreciated!

Recently I saw in the big fat Swedish furniture shop (finally we went back there) that they had smooth stones wrapped in string as table decoration. Excellent idea I thought! I can do the same with small stones for this Monday. The black stone (no doubt I picked it up on some volcanic island) is 1 1/2" long.

This is a very thin (about 2 mm in diameter) string wound of even thinner silky threads, sealing clips at both ends. I put it (in a double ring form ) on the inside of a foam kiss cartonage with a shiny silver surface that gives a soft, diffused reflection. The warm light comes from a candle.

A long and colorful string of fun to all participants 💙♥️💚💜💛

I've shot this with the Lensbaby Sweet 50 at f8 and with an 8mm macro converter.

I've then added a couple of 2 Little Owls textures: Crawford 1 and Dazzle 5.
