A beautiful leopard strides across the lawn at the National Zoo in Washington D.C.

I love the wicked hooks and hairs on the legs of this one. These are remarkable insects- one of my undergrad profs used to have her students paint little numbers on the backs of water striders so they could track their movements.

I used a pack of stride gum for my advertising assignment. I think this turned out pretty nice and it fits exactly what I was going for.

Stridor has a hinged mouth that is spring loaded to close and hold the reins.
