Lu, the neighbour showing us how good a full stretch is but she also was ensuring that I would be won over and wouldn’t shush her out of the garden and it worked. I just laughed out loud.

Maligne Lake is the largest natural lake in the Canadian Rockies, Ringed by snow-and-ice-capped mountains, the 22 km long lake stretches past serene Spirit Island right to the melt-water channels of Coronet Glacier. Maligne Lake has some great trails, walked about 2 hours along the lakeside and forest. This place is an absolute must if you're in the area! Beautiful scenery with mountains peaks and wildlife close by. The lake and walking path is jammed with stunning views! It was a cloudy day when visiting there, the lake would be more colorful if the sky was opened. Even though it can not stop its beauty.

This long term exposure (300 sec.) has been taken at the very beginning of the sunrise. A pure moment of peacefulness on a very still lake with no wind.

This image was captured as the beautiful white throated male mountain gem was in the process of stretching . This is a species that is often seen in the gardens near Savegre in Costa Rica . They are vibrant and feisty little hummingbirds and always a thrill to see.

“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature…the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.”

Violet-capped woodnymph (Thalurania glaucopis)

Portuguese ID: Beija flor de fronte violeta

Its scientific name means: from (Greek) thalos = child, descendant of; and ouranos = sky, celestial, referring to the blue of the sky; and Greek (glaukos = bluish-gray). ⇒ Bluish gray bird, son of the sky blue.

It measures about 11.1 centimeters, and his tongue that when stretched reaches 4 centimeters, feeds on nectar. Sometimes it pierces the flower tuft outside, directly attacking its precious liquid.

But this species has already been observed hunting insects and small spiders as it flies, with rapid maneuvers.

It's like Earth will become

In the future

Just have to be patient

I will never give up that idea

That Love will win

Conquer our hearts

Soften them

Let us be pure love in the flesh

Earth will be a marvelous place for us all

All we need is to begin with ourselves and the ones we have around us

Mmmmmmmmm I love being in love

Masters of non-verbal communication, the majority of their intra-species communication is non-verbal, and stretching is one of their subtle ways of expressing affection and strengthening the bond.

This was the only chick that ventured out of the reeds yesterday. Mum was around and did feed it although it is now quite capable of feeding itself.
