Flowing water, dancing drops

Stream of fate, that never stops

Twisting, turning, shining bright

Swimming with the rays of light

That descend and they fly

Down from the beautiful endless sky

Above the stream that never stops

With it's flowing water and it's dancing drops

I needed an image with streaming light in a forest for a compositing project so went out this morning and found one.

Shot taken at mountain Pilio.

Stream flow over a little ledge at New River Gorge National Park, West Virginia....

During the frequent Scottish rains, the rocky steep slopes of Glen Etive fill with small streams and waterfalls that flow down into the River Etive at the bottom of the valley, seen at the bottom of the shot. Glencoe, Scotland.

I'd finished up taking a few shots at Courthouse Falls last May and decided to try to capture a few close ups of the rushing water...

This is a close-up photo of sunlight refracting through water patterns in a shallow stream flowing across Clam Harbour Beach.

A moment of fantastic light mixed with a little fog in the Pisgah National Forest. I was taking photos of a picturesque cascade on this stream when I looked behind me and saw this scene unfolding. I quickly turned around to capture this light before it moved on. It was such a simple scene that the light transformed into something more. It always pays to look behind you especially when you have great light behind you.
