While we were in the Kawarthas, we did a couple hikes through the Silent Lake Provincial Park. I wasn't expecting to see much in the "deep woods" but it turns out that was my favorite part. There were many little water falls, streams and ponds throughout the woods. Great hiking area

Starting to look like another great fall for foliage in New England. This is a stream in Winchester, NH.
A side stream at the bottom of Ragged Falls Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada.
This is a HDR of 5 long exposures all shot with a 18-55mm lens@40mm, with Nikon 4x ND filter, at f22 in 1 f-stop intervals and merged to HDR to really emphasise the detail in the rocks and algae. The correct exposure (+/- 0 EV) was then softened and once again overlaid the merged HDR and set to 25% opacity to add back some the silkiness to the moving water and the overall mistiness to the image that was lost during the HDR process.
I changed the tune in the photoshop to make the pic more greenish. The softness made by open-aperture and under-exposure gave the dizzy look. Nice pic!

This is a small stream running through Glacier National Park, sourced from melting snow in the summer.
Small Stream (by a ford) that Passes through Affeton Wood feeding the Little Dart River.
The Little Dart River source begins on Rackenford moor and flows into the Taw.
