Stream of Life

A stream feeding into the lake of Wastwater in the Lake District.
Incredible Incredible Incredible place. The lake is almost 3 miles long and more than a third of a mile wide. It is the deepest lake in England, at 79 metres!
This stream goes under teh Waddeston Greenway near Aylesbury. It was good to stop and spend time here. ON a bicycle I can stop anywhere, the bicycle is small.
I've been out having another go at stitching images from my 35mm PC lens. I chose another familiar location, sorry about the repetition as I've done all these views on my small camera on workshops lately - I wanted to establish the compositions before the final photos today.
The little stream running from by the 1839 Siloam Baptist Chapel is usually a barely perceptible trickle as it comes down the hill to flow into the Blaen Bran brook; not today.
After reaching the peak, networks of streams can be discovered along the slopes of Mt. Mitake. The mountain is breathing with life as the spring season finally gives birth to sleeping trees, giving the mountain a natural green glow.
Havn't been out at all to get any shots since late November. Looking through some of My Lakes shots and found this from November that I meant to put up. Its a little stream that runs into Derwentwater just round from the Millenium Stones.

Made on Whites Beach on the West Coast near Auckland, New Zealand, this sculpture always begs the question “Where are the footprints?”.The smooth stones were placed around the edge of this tidal water by walking only in the water or on the rocky reef. The sun setting on the horrizon created the eerie warm light.

A student with the Youth Forest Monitoring Program (YFMP) measures the size of rocks in a stream near Webb Lake in the Scapegoat Wilderness on the Helena National Forest northwest of Lincoln, Mont. The size of rocks and pebbles in a stream can help determine the suitability of habitat for certain species.
