Glendalough, Wicklow mountain national park

Sunday's overcast weather created perfect soft water photography conditions up at Glendalough. This pretty stream lies near the upper lake.

well i had lunch with melanie today. it was a joy. then we just couldnt handle not taking pictures. weve always wanted to photo here and so we finally gave in, jumped the fence, ran fast, jumped hard and found somewhere worth the journey

This plant has grown rapidly. It was in a six inch pot when I bought it a few months ago at Tucson's Tohono Chul nursery's flower sale..

I found this stream to be fairly photogenic with all the leaves around and the direction the light was hitting it.

Many small streams like this one combine to form the River Gilgit which ultimately merges into Indus. This photo was taken in Gilgit valley.

Dusk light helped bring out the colours of this little stream
