Small and beautiful stream through the forest. Standing on a few wooden plank with the tripod and shot taken with ND16 filter.
Downstream from RMNP, near Lyons, CO. The formations remind me of Franconia Notch State Park, in NH.

The forest near my hometown. I like to walk there, especially in the Spring, when everything is so green and many flowers are blooming :)
Leśny strumyk, tuż za miastem. Całkiem miłe miejsce do spacerów, zwłaszcza wiosną, gdy wokół tyle świeżej zieleni i kwiatów :)

Even though the temperature had been below freezing for twelve straight days, there was still some liquid water flowing behind the Eureka Lake Falls and along a mostly under-the-ice but occasionally visible creek below the waterfall.

This stream links a lake to the ocean. This stream is not always open to the ocean but has been open for quite a while due to heavy rains this year. This photo taken from the north side and I had a long walk to get to this point. It was low tide and the ocean was actually flowing back into the lake. The Back Lake at Merimbula on the Far South Coast of NSW.
Just about to cross a footbridge over the stream and these daffodils caught my attention. I liked the way they sort of gleamed in the evening light. As you can see there's still plenty of colour in the sky.
Chalk streams are rivers that rise from springs in landscapes with chalk bedrock. Since chalk is permeable, water percolates easily through the ground to the water table and chalk streams therefore receive little surface runoff. ... Of the 210 rivers classified as chalk streams globally, 160 are in England
