Some small towns in the U.S. still have operational small movie houses such as this one in Georgetown, South Carolina. Georgetown is a historic small town about halfway between Myrtle Beach and historic Charleston. Myrtle Beach is at the center of the resort areas along The Grand Strand which is an unbroken 60-mile (97 km) stretch of beach.
