Back in the summer. It's really very difficult to work out when you've got this landscape correctly horizontal, but I think I've got it right...
Rocky hill on the Trotternish peninsula of the Isle of Skye in Scotland.

My sister and our friend emily and I took a hike on a gloomy day to see a big rock pointing at the sky that was about ready to dump rain on us. We saw the rock, and managed to stay somewhat dry!

The Storr is a rocky hill on the Trotternish peninsula of the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The hill presents a steep rocky eastern face overlooking the Sound of Raasay, contrasting with gentler grassy slopes to the west.
The classic view across Loch Fada with a fair share of atmosphere ( as rain is known in these parts)
The old Man of Storr and his nearest companion.
If you look closely you can see the tiny hill walker in the middle of the frame.
It kinda puts the whole place into a size perspective :-)

2 more from Skye this Autumn. A screech to a halt job as there was a rainbow over the Old Man of Storr. The rainbow disappeared quickly, but the Old Man and the Storr behind it played hide n seek with the low lying clouds addind a fantastic separation between the pillar of the Old Man and the looming black cliffs of the Storr behind. Normally the view here wouldn't work as the Old Man is lost against the cliffs. Nik Silver Efex mono conversion

The highest point reaching 719 meters or 2359 feet according to Wikipedia.. I was standing on the other side of Loch Fada when I took this picture.
This viewpoint is a poor attempt at one done by Steve Boote, www.flickr.com/photos/amblekingrat/ in the foothills beneath the Old Man of Storr (which appears totally dwarfed at the horizon). Taken in a very stiff breeze.
The joy of it on such a clear day was the warmth and texture in the heathers.
