To view in stereo, sit 2-3 feet from the monitor and gently cross your eyes so that the two images become three. The one in the middle will be in 3d. If you are finding this difficult, you may be trying too hard. Viewing the original size is best.

Actually shot by accident as I was getting ready to switch lenses.

NoLita is one of our favorite places to walk around New York City as it has so many lovely small independently-owned shops and Little Cupcake Bakeshop is one place we often stop at. The bakery was established by Salvatore LoBuglio in Brooklyn in 2005 and he later opened this lovely shop on Prince Street, which specializes in baking cupcakes and cakes using no preservatives or shortening and only sustainable ingredients predominantly sourced from local farms, including milk from grass-fed cows. One of favorites is their“Strawberry Shortcake” cupcake which was invented by the owner because he ate Good Humor strawberry shortcake 🍓ice cream bars all the time when growing up and wanted to recreate the flavor in a cake form. This specialty cupcake which is also available as a full-size cake not only resembled the strawberry shortcake ice cream bar but also tastes exactly like it! The bakery is also known for its chocolate “Brooklyn Blackout Cake” filled with chocolate ganache and chocolate buttercream and frosted with 2 types of chocolate icing. Let us know what flavors are some of your favorites from this shop.

Storefronts and Exteriors

Buildings on the East side of Front Street, Belleville, Ontario, just south of Victoria Avenue. Photo shows National Billiards, Belmont Restaurant (289 Front Street) and Milady Shop.

More empty or nearly empty buildings in Downtown Cairo. I wonder if anyone ever crashed into this building.

Broad Street, Cairo.

The store wasn't as weird as the sign.

Storefront sign: FINE WINE & CHAMPAGNE'S but the sign immediately below reads, correctly: LIQUORS & WINES.

And then, next door... (note we're not quite in Chinatown quite just yet), next to this fairly Wild West-looking building, in my personal opinion, or, ok, let's compromise and just say very American (read: Western, not in any way Eastern/Asian/Oriental) storefront, we have something labeled in big large characters 海安堂, "Ocean Peace Hall."

(Though the translation might lead one to suspect this refers to the Pacific, it does not. The Pacific is 太平洋。)

What goes on in a 海安堂, I wonder.

See where this picture was taken. [?]

Bentley is a smattering of newer country estates, older houses, an old school and if there was a downtown this is about the only survivor.

I finally tried this Italian diner on Nott Street in Schenectady after driving past for many years. The food was great and the atmosphere even better!

I got very excited when I saw this because I misread the sign as Strawberry Repair Shop.
