I hope they will get their downtown area renovated - it has such wonderful history that it is a shame for the surrounding buildings to be do rundown. This is an interesting old storefront in Du Quoin IL. It looks abandoned. The sign on the door refers to a business on Main St. which this is not.

The reviving Penn Ave area forms the border of several Pittsburgh neighborhoods. This is probably the most obvious example of old storefronts being tacked to the front of an even older Victorian house after the street became a high-traffic thoroughfare.
