I ran across this box in the back corner of the storage shed this afternoon. I knew what was in it. It was an item I'd purchased via eBay "a few" years ago and had never opened. I was waiting until I had a place to put it.
I looked at the postmark on the parcel. "A few" years ago was 2016. This box has been sitting unopened in the back of the storage shed for nine years.
Since I'm trying to clear some space in the shed, I decided to open the parcel, assuming the item, which was quite fragile, had either been broken in transit or got broken while being shifted around in the storage shed and subject to winter cold and summer heat.

This building is the remains of the storage building where the prison ships docked. Parts of it appear to be in use today.
Not the best place to store costumes, but at least they're all in a place where I can find them, and where they're all together. All four costumes and their accessories are collected in their respective bag (except for Black Lady's fabric and Gaga #1's wig).
FYI--Gaga #1 is the Fame-era one with the hood. Gaga #2 is the bunny mask one.

I was tasked with creating storage boxes for 2 decalcomanias. The artifacts were extremely fragile as they are composed of paint on glass. They could not be stored vertically. Vibration also had to be minimized to prevent more paint from flaking off. Ethafoam wrapped with acid free tissue paper was used for the housing. The item was stored in a blue board box.

I also created a top support that sat inside the wooden frame of the decalcomania. This was to further minimize vibrations from movement.
In order to prevent warping, I use on of my box from Ikea and fill it with storage peanuts. And wallah the drop spindles and other spindles can sit upright.

Note these some spindles are not in my possessions because I gave them to some people whom like to have them.
