Beautiful storage cabinet for 200 x 78rpm records, spotted in the Marie Curie Cancer Care shop, Glos Rd, Bristol, yesterday. The 78s were a quid each. I wanted to make an offer for the lot but couldn't justify it to myself.

I was tasked with creating storage boxes for 2 decalcomanias. The artifacts were extremely fragile as they are composed of paint on glass. They could not be stored vertically. Vibration also had to be minimized to prevent more paint from flaking off. Ethafoam wrapped with acid free tissue paper was used for the housing. The item was stored in a blue board box.

I also created a top support that sat inside the wooden frame of the decalcomania. This was to further minimize vibrations from movement.

I needed Tupperware so this came in handy. Plus the squish down to stack & store better than ordinary tupperware. :)
Storage trays for initial deployment of Hyak. 4 trays in each stack, 16 drives in each tray. On the right, 450GB 15K SAS drives. On the left, 1TB SATA. I make this out to be 92.8TB of raw disk. And this is our *test* infrastructure!
