MARC MP36 23 was pushing train 851 away from the Saint Denis stop heading for Washington, DC. Since the closing of the Elkridge stop in the mid-90s, MARC's next stop down the line is Dorsey.

The eastbound Winter Park Express is stopped on the main track alongside the heated platform here at the Winter Park Ski Resort. Passengers are working to get their equipment loaded, as well as themselves loaded, onto the train for the return trip to Denver. The train is running about 30 minutes late due to a CTC issue at the west end of Fraser.

Seeing the stop sign I did stop - to gaze through the turntable control cabin windows at the roundhouse in Hamilton, Ontario. I found Toronto Hamilton & Buffalo GP9 402 resting off the table between assignments in September 1976.
Here's a little Ruby-Throated Hummingbird as close to stopped as light would allow me to this weekend. :)
Let's face it, even though it's not healthy vaping has become a popular activity. One thing I've noticed, though, is how defined it's rising plume is, especially when it's cold. It makes for an interesting photograph.
