Non-stop snow today. I tried to shovel every hour to keep things reasonable. It made me feel like Sysiphus in Greek Mythology.... did a lot of work but didn't really accomplish anything.

Wenesday June 6, 2012 Christchurch NZ. This is what we woke up to this morning. The City now has come to a stand still and some parts are without power. It has just stopped snowing looks as if the rain may come!
I just finished a stop motion music video that should be released in about a month.
Due to the nature of the video I was able to do whatever I wanted (within reason and within a low budget...) so I chose to experiment with something I've never done before.

Up to 17 people met on 5th Nov, to lobby Harriett Baldwin regards getting the government to take stronger action in our race to prevent runaway Climate Change. There were representatives at Harriett's regular surgery in Malvern from Oxfam, Making Waves, Greenpeace, Transition Malvern Hill as well as independent persons. Altogether we have 3 appointments to get our message across. We covered aspects such as the effects of Climate Change on developing countries, our local areas poor insulated housing stock, with pushing for stronger renewable elements in the new Energy Security and Green Economy Bill, the forthcoming talks in Mexico, the Green Bank, coal fired power stations and that CCS is a no goer and many more subjects. We also handed over nearly 100 postcards from the Greenpeace campaign 'Go beyond Oil'.
