Currumbin is one of those places that has a little bit of everything, from brilliant beach views to a more inland feel, there is something for everyone to enjoy. There are a lot of places like that on the Gold Coast. Currumbin is lucky in that everything feels so close, the beach is only a couple of minutes away from a wildlife sanctuary where you can find plenty of native Australian animals just wandering around. Go a little further and the rock pools can be found.

Currumbin is a great place for families, and if the weather is playing nice you will want to spend quite a few days exploring.

A crowd of 250 or so participated in the Stop the War! March for Change, November 5th, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Organized by the Omni Center for Peace, Justice and Equality plus the Green Party Arkansas, UA Campus Greens, NOW and NORML. Here they are gathered at the Peace Fountain on the Fayetteville Square. (I have no photos of the speakers because I was sitting with the speakers.)

We stopped to see if Aoraki would show itself, but no. Some still found some interesting plants along the lake edge though.

Nonviolent direct action civil disobedience / civil resistance can be rewarding activities.

I also think that other avenues of recourse deserve to be pursued, for example, political lobbying, litigation, and other legal measures.
