It flexes and sways slightly when sat upon, enabling the user to move and rock while working without fear of stool tipping over

Tam Tam stools original orange plastic. They are easily detachable and can contain objects. Designed in 1968 by Henry Massonet for Stamp, historical French factory of plastic objects, in the 70s have become a pop icon of design.

This is a stool I've been working on the last few weeks. My goal is to assemble a stool together using thermoforming, and through this, eliminate the need for fasteners. By using what would normally be considered "consequences" of vacuum-forming, the undercuts and trapping of wood add to it's structure. Photograph courtesy of Kuan Tong.
