Antique Chinese Square Stool or Low Table
Antique Chinese square stool or low table. Lovely as a pair but can be sold separately, Price presented is for one. The table top sits on an indented carved apron, with pierced carved leg extenders. The apron carvings are the Chinese long-life symbol. Beautiful brown lacquer finish. Legs are tapered ending in a horse hoof design.

I took a stool that I had bought at a rummage sale then painted the legs and reupholstered. A beautiful piece for my little girl's room.

Much of the original lacquer has been worn away with age and use, revealing the wood. Some of the leg extenders are replacements for broken pieces. Legs end in a horse hoof design.

This is an old wooden stool, that is raised and lowered by turning the top of the stool so that it screws up and down. I found it an office, and the light from the window, through a venetian blind, added to the abstractness.
Chinese Stool or Low Table
Rectangle Chinese stool or low table. Carved disc and/or spindles between upper extenders and top of table. Simple leg extenders on bottom area and legs end in traditional horse hoof design. Makes an excellent sitting bench or a small end table. Group with other small tables to create a larger coffee table area. Two slightly different stools available - one with a light brown finish and one with a reddish brown finish.

Design is a replica of the classic Ming-style of geometric, rounded, soft lines/ Notice the rounded legs and the rounded edges of the top, with a floating panel. A carved rounded stretcher is directly under the carved apron. The concentric circles or double moon shape is the focal point of the stool /table. Finish is medium brown. There are two stools available. Price is per each stool.
