A conceptual art fantasy image I made using my photograph of the autumn grasses at Little Hump Mountain.
New version uploaded without the added textures. I'm never satisfied sometimes.
Was able to take in some wonderful entertainment along the banks of Horsepen bayou. Watched this Green Heron searching for lunch while perched on the old tree that is trapped along the banks of the bayou. They love to get up close and personal with their prey.

Spent some time on the beach this afternoon and as ever it was glorious. I gave the Sigma 60mm an airing, as I don't think I've used it at all this year … shame on me, coz it's a nice lens.

My brother flew in from Cape Town and made a hot fire for our once-every-five-years or so braai (barbecue).
This is a fishing technique Snowy egrets use often. They use a foot to stir things up in shallow water & as a lure to attract fish. This one did it several times but had no luck while I was watching.

I like taking pictures of everyday things =) I've also noticed that most Starbucks don't have these and I hate that. I like using these when I want little sips of stuff.

Overnight snow in early February 1991 had left only the Up & Down main lines at Bromsgrove visible. The passing of the BR Table 51 08:20 Leeds to Paington HST certainly stirred the blanket in its wake.
