My jaw dropped when I saw this. Really intricate beautiful details. A must have item. Don't miss out my dear friends.
" Close your eyes and sleep
Ignore all the burdens that you keep
Come whatever may
They could never harm you anyway
Stirrings in the wind
Resonates a whisper from within
Warnings from afar
Telling you to heed the morning star
Waking from the dream
Witnessing the smoke that's rolling in
The end is what you fear
The scent of embers lingers in the air... "

Loch Loyne, Scotland
The first few days in Scotland were spent exploring Edinburgh, which I thoroughly enjoyed despite not being much of a city person. But it will likely not be surprising to anyone that the part of the trip I was most looking forward to was the Highlands and Isle of Skye.
This particular day started out with some rays of early morning sunshine but then the clouds and rain rolled in, and the wind picked up as the day went on. The moody weather seemed suited to the Highlands though, and did nothing to dampen my sense of anticipation as the cities and towns faded into the distance. As the scenery became more rugged and remote my eyes eagerly drank in the views of mountains, rivers, and lochs, and I felt a stirring in my soul at the sight of these beautiful wild places.
Upon reaching a place to stop and get out of the car, that stirring grew stronger. I could feel the damp and the chill in the air as I picked my way over the rocky ground and when I stood still to take in the view pictured here, and to really feel this place, all I could think was "yes! this! This is why I came to Scotland."
That feeling came on with full force later that day, when I was attempting to photograph the Eas A'Bhradain waterfall in the wind and pouring rain. That photographic effort was quickly abandoned, but I couldn't bring myself to get back in the car right away. (My daughter, being the smarter of us, stayed where it was warm and dry 😄)
Me, I just wanted to remain there with the wild water and the wild weather, with the rain drenching my hair and the wind whipping my face, because somehow I felt like I was part of that wildness, and in that, felt the exhilaration of being fully and absolutely alive.
Note: For those who might want to see what the falls looked like, this is the one photo I hastily took there:
We had all these lovely night walks while being in Strasbourg. The city has wonderful illumination and a nightly stroll along the river or the canals is definitely a nice treat.

Wadi Rum along with the Petra ruins are Jordan's two most talked about tourist destinations and it's clear why... both are off the map interesting and wonderful to see and experience. This is my first time here and I was birding with a good friend, Feras Rahahleh, who is a well known top birder in the south of Jordan, so I had the feeling this could be a special day.
I have to say that sometimes, I pat myself on the back when I actually do something right (so rare these days)... and this was one of those times. I have been experimenting with a new camera and so brought two cameras along... (and yes, it's officially out of control now).
Wadi Rum's beauty is beyond words for me... TE Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) penned an excellent and stirring description 100 years ago and you probably know this place if you watch the Star Wars, Indiana Jones and so many other sci-fi movies. They were shot here and in Petra... enough said for now... :-)
Thank you for your visit and taking time to comment, fave or invite my photo to your group. Your encouragement is really appreciated.

Those Juncos, always have to be stirring the pot. I've known a few Juncos in my time, how about you? I'm sure we all have!
The word "emotion" dates back to 1579, when it was adapted from the French word émouvoir, which means "to stir up". The term emotion was introduced into academic discussion to replace passion
8:52 - Beating the February Blahs
The horses were called for feeding and this one instead of making a bee-line to the barn veered off and got the grazing cattle all riled up!
I have been going through the archives and enjoying some photo editing during February...I will continue as March is not shaping up too nicely either with snow everyday so far. My car got stuck in the driveway today! I had to wait for Phil to get it out. So done with winter.

There are just a few ice caps forming on the branches near the river. This one caught my eye at the last minute. It is worthwhile to retrace your steps at a scene and be surprised by a perspective you never noticed at first. The churning of the water was a gentle rush that soothed me. I love listening to the rhythmic sound of a flowing river.

You can also capture this area by foot, but nothing compares to experiencing this life style by floating into the scene and becoming one with the peacefulness and beauty that 'surrounds' you.

The reflections of the Plaza made golden patterns on the Yarra River, gently stirred by the rowing of the Gondolier.
To be honest, another I'm not 100% sure about but I really loved the patterns on the water and that's what I was thinking about when I took the image as it kind of looked like the gondolier was stirring liquid gold.
Sent the aperture to f/18 to extend the shutter speed. CPL filter used to reveal the details there under the water as well.
Among the mountains around Loch Slapin on the Isle Of Skye. I just love the relationship between clouds and mountains.
“Indigo, the deep blue contains an abundance of sapphires shining their light through the density, awakening and stirring our consciousness. In the daylight the sea will change, but for now it remains mysterious, obtainable through our imagination.”
― Jennifer Lynch
As another magical Mannum dawn unfolded, the birds gradually stirred to life. There were many pelicans starting their fishing patrols, coots doing what coots do best, and a whole tree full of little pied cormorants getting ready for another perfect Riverland day.
NS 64T is slowly crossing the Sandusky Bay causeway with a CSX Tier 4 Gevo on the point. Though not moving fast they stirred up this even dozen seagulls that were loitering on the tracks and flew almost right towards my drone, but fortunately not into it! A heavy fog over Lake Erie fortunately gave way to a thin haze over the bay which was being burned off by the clear sky sun above. Sandusky, OH 4/5/2022
Take: a mushroom brush, a stirring spoon made of fine olive wood and a butter knife. Drape the whole thing neatly on a glittering moss in front of a bathroom mirror. Then take your camera; OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA; attach a small table-top tripod to it, add a little light and squeeze. Et Voilà, the eye candy for today's theme! I'm so happy!!!

Stirring up a fresh batch of kettle corn on a cold evening. There was a fan behind this guy blowing that aroma out into the crowd. We never stood a chance.

Driving 75 miles for one and a half hours, getting to within 4 miles of your destination and being confronted with a "Road Closed Ahead for Bridge Repairs" sign is annoying to say the least! After a few choice words and no alternate route i decided on plan B - a return visit to Cauldron Falls in West Burton. A lovely spot for a picnic with an opportunity for some new angles.
I WISH A WONDERFUL WEEKEND FOR EVERYONE ! ! ! !
