One day our plant is full of blooms and then they all wilt to be replaced in a few days by another bunch of blooms. This goes on all summer. It is a pleasure to watch.

I confess. I parked on the side of the street, and walked up to the mailbox where this plant was growing, and took a photo, without permission. Sorry about that.
No retouching, just the color the way it was. Splendid! This is perhaps the best shot of a stigma that I've had the privilege of taking. (It's the three-lobed object on the right.) The anthers are lovely, also, all six of them.
There is an original size, with even more detail visible.

I’m not writing about a new camera lens. Years ago, we had mobs of people that would be so influenced by their peers and leaders they would kill; these were called lynch mobs. Today in the workplace we have Workplace Mobbing. I’m going to tell you what others don’t want you to hear, so stick with me folks.
This week there were two separate cases of extreme workplace violence; people were killed. In most of these cases there will be a pause while law enforcement and others scramble for answers. Then a few days later the media and others will bring up mental health. In most cases this is total Bull-Shit. If you don’t believe me research it yourself. There are many publications on Workplace Mobbing and Workplace Harassment. With today’s technology this harassment has gone beyond harassment to criminal.
Workplace Mobbing affects millions of Americans daily. Many victims reach out to their supervisors only to be retaliated against. With each day the harassment continues and most victims have no where to turn to. Most Hot Lines are also Bull-Shit; they put you on a trouble maker or watch list. These victims keep their heads down, go to work day after day; knowing they will be harassed and set up by their coworkers. These victims have bills to pay, families to feed, mortgages to make, these victims go to work every day. While serving this country I’ve walked among such brave men and women. While working here in Yosemite National Park; I’ve yet to meet such bravery from the Superintendent’s Office.
For those of you that are victims of Workplace Mobbing; violence is not the answer. I know it’s hard to shake the stigma behind Workplace Mobbing, but you need to. Educate yourself, you will find you’re not alone. Make a daily journal; dates, times, events, persons. Record everything, yes, I said everything; video, audio and pictures. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t. The evidence you collect is not for public display or use; it’s to present to law enforcement and trials. There will be a day when we will be heard.
Workplace Mobbing is real; here in Yosemite National Park it has come to the point of being criminal.
