Standing out from the petals and surrounded by 5 stamens (there may be a 6th one hidden from view) is the greenish-yellow tri-lobed stigma. Little pollen remains on the stamens' anthers after the recent stormy weather.

Thanx google for finding me the parts of a flower for my title :) Sadly I took a rather involved course on plant growth and function in college. I got a good grade but I don't remember a thing.
