A couple of Google spot checks suggest that these are mostly advertisements for various insubstantial products: for example, generic, inexpensive clothing which only a brand name and perhaps a slogan distinguish from bales of similar stuff fresh off the boat from Vietnam or Indonesia.
My impression is that many of the people who inflict advertising on us believe that their approach works by embedding brand names in our thoughts. These stickers go further, in that the process of asserting the brand, or finding its voice, by vandalizing public space, is intended to resonate with or excite the target demographic. It suggests shared identity.
And that might actually just be Rule 2 of the advertising playbook, after gaining mindshare. After all, the same thing works its insidious magic on me. I make a lot of assumptions about a product, based on whether the advertisement appears in the New Yorker or the Los Angeles Times sports pages.
Finally it occurred to me to use the flash for fill.

A panoply of cheap stickers, including some apple stickers. Some of those look suspiciously like Apple stickers.
These stickers appear in various places around the city centre, usually stuck on lamp-posts and similar bits of street furniture. I'm not sure what they represent, but they make for good photo opportunities.
This unique set of stickers features images that have been repurposed from vintage Popples wrapping paper. Brightly colored, fun creatures which could be rolled into balls, Popples were one of the great toys that were created in the 1980s and cherished by their young owners. This bit of nostalgia features images of some of your favorite original Popples: PC "Pretty Cool" Popple, Party Popple, Pancake, Puzzle, Prize, Puffball, Pretty Bit, Potato Chip and Putter.
Each of the stickers in the set is one of a kind, as it has been created from the actual 1980s wrapping paper. The stickers measure 1.25" (3.1 cm) in diameter. There are a total of 12 stickers in each package. The permanent acid-free adhesive makes these stickers suitable for scrapbooking, collage and other archival quality projects. They would be perfect for adding that special touch to envelopes and gifts.
