I matte Facebook Sticker I got from a web2.0 meeting I attended for Online Business people in January '09.

And so it came to pass that The Defcon Five got stickers made. This is basically what they're going to look like...tweaked ever-so-slightly for the final screen. It took me nearly a week to find a switchblade comb..I went to every dollar store, party supply outlet, Urban Outfitters, yard sale...to no avail. I couldn't even find a decent black and white representation of one online. In a last ditch effort I ended up at Cutler's Records in New Haven, where I knew I could drown my sorrow in games of Asteroids Deluxe (they have bobble heads and fake mustaches and junk...). They actually had a MINI mustache comb that was a one inch little switchblade, and I was considering scanning and stretching it, when my friend Kyle walked in from his lunch break. Kyle is a stand-up fellow and font of arcane knowledge, and when I told him of my plight he said "wait one moment", opened up the junk drawer, and pulled out a switchblade comb! This is how Kyle is, and I admire him for it to no end. I photocopied the actual comb, traced it freehand, liberated some letters from an old Harvey Kurtzman "Mad" magazine, and the rest is adhesive history.
