After years of hunting, and my horrible experience with KidRobot I finally have him!
His fur is shaggy, his ears and paws are a light pink and he has a silver chain around his neck. His claws are a white faux leather material. As far as I know, this is the only Gloomy Bear that has "soft" claws, that aren't hard plastic. There are lots of fake Gloomy Bears out there (particularly on eBay), and one of the sure signs of a fake is soft, overly long claws.
And don't freak out - I didn't remove his tag! It's just swung around his back :)
